In-Reach & Family Team

Team Leader: Sis. Judy Wood

The In-Reach/Family Team recognizes that the spiritual and physical needs of our congregation may in many ways be distinctly aligned with the age (chronological and spiritual) and gender of the congregate. Hence, this Team is organized into the Men’s Ministry, New Members Ministry, Women’s Ministry and Youth Ministry. The ministries of this Team including the Hospitality Ministry complements the works of the other teams by attending to the unique or particular needs of men, women, new members and the youth. The Team consists of the following ministries:

Marriage Enrichment Ministry. This ministry serves to promote biblically based principles of married couples while also providing fellowship opportunities; spiritual, and emotional support for husbands and wives to enhance their relationship with one another.

Men’s Ministry. Also known as Brothers United In Christ this ministry seeks to support men who are striving for the perfecting work of God’s Holy Spirit in their lives. This is accomplished through regular meeting times for praise, study, fellowship, comforting and learning, and via special in-church and community work and recreational projects.

New Members Ministry. This Ministry welcomes new members to the church through the sharing of God’s Word as well as prayer. It also offers assistance as new members make their transition into full fellowship with the local body of believers known as First Baptist Church – Transformation Ministries by fostering a “welcoming” environment with an emphasis on developing and nurturing their personal relationship with God through participating in ministries.

Women’s Ministry. Also known as Sisters United In Christ, this ministry seeks to strengthen the bond of unity, love and support for women of the church through monthly times of fellowship, prayer and study of God’s Word. The ministry also engages in special in-church and community work, spiritual growth and recreational projects.
